Turn a general clean into a clear checklist
Start with the rooms that matter most, then name the tasks inside them. A kitchen request might involve worktops and cupboard fronts; cleaning inside cupboards or appliances needs to be stated separately. The same applies to internal windows, balconies and utility spaces. A room count gives a starting point, but its condition and contents determine the actual work.
For a Westlands visit, check the building's visitor arrangements before settling on an arrival window. Tell us whether you will be working from home or need one room kept quiet and available. Put away documents, valuables and items you prefer to handle yourself. If the apartment is being handed over, explain whether it will be empty and who can inspect it. We will agree the scope and discuss any extra requests before work begins; a general cleaning enquiry is not an automatic booking for every surface.
Planning your visit in Westlands
A neighbourhood name does not tell us which entrance to use. For a Westlands visit, include your road, building or compound name and a nearby landmark. If your building has a reception desk, ask whether a visiting cleaning team needs advance clearance. Mention the floor and whether equipment can use the lift. We will agree an arrival window once the location and work are understood; a page for Westlands is not a promise of an immediate slot.
- Building name and the correct visitor entrance
- Floor, lift access and loading arrangements
- Any reception or caretaker approval needed
What affects the cleaning quote?
Tell us the size of your home, the rooms that need cleaning and the tasks you want included. Moving in or out? Share that too so we can plan the right scope.
- Number of rooms and approximate home size
- Tasks you want included in the clean
- Access, parking, water or power restrictions
Ask for the total in KES, the work included and any travel charge. Extra items or tasks need to be agreed before they are added. A preferred date is an enquiry, not a confirmed appointment.
After the clean
Before your visit, we’ll agree what to prepare and which tasks are included. Any additional work is discussed with you before it starts.
Keep the agreed checklist so you can review the completed work. If something needs attention, describe the item or room and the concern when you follow up.
