A sofa visit that fits your building
If your sofa is in an apartment, planning starts before anyone reaches the door. Tell us which floor it is on and whether equipment can use the lift. The sofa does not have to be carried out simply because you are asking for a quote; the proposed method and working space need to be discussed first. Photograph the whole piece and then any marked cushions, so a single close-up does not hide the size of the job.
Include armchairs, footstools and scatter cushions separately. A five-seat arrangement may contain different fabrics, detachable parts or a recliner. Point out loose seams and previous spot treatments. We can then explain what can be assessed from the photos and what needs checking in person. Before a date is confirmed, consider where you will sit while the cleaned fabric dries and whether the room can be ventilated.
Planning your visit in Westlands
A neighbourhood name does not tell us which entrance to use. For a Westlands visit, include your road, building or compound name and a nearby landmark. If your building has a reception desk, ask whether a visiting cleaning team needs advance clearance. Mention the floor and whether equipment can use the lift. We will agree an arrival window once the location and work are understood; a page for Westlands is not a promise of an immediate slot.
- Building name and the correct visitor entrance
- Floor, lift access and loading arrangements
- Any reception or caretaker approval needed
What affects the cleaning quote?
Share your sofa’s seating capacity, material and condition. A photo helps us understand what needs attention and recommend a suitable cleaning approach.
- Number of seats and any loose cushions
- Fabric or material, if you know it
- Stains, spills and any previous treatment
Ask for the total in KES, the work included and any travel charge. Extra items or tasks need to be agreed before they are added. A preferred date is an enquiry, not a confirmed appointment.
After the clean
Drying depends on the fabric, cleaning method and airflow. We’ll explain what to expect and when your sofa is ready to use.
Keep the agreed checklist so you can review the completed work. If something needs attention, describe the item or room and the concern when you follow up.
